Warehouse WorkerJob Title: Warehouse WorkerShift: 1st and 2nd AvailableJob DescriptionThis role is a hands-on warehouse position supporting multiple areas, including trailer loading, shipping, kitting, packaging, and discreet order preparation. You work in a fast-paced, high-volume distribution environment, handling heavy boxes and totes, applying labels, and ensuring products are accurately staged and prepared for shipment. Shifts are available across days and nights, offering consistent full-time hours in a climate-controlled facility.ResponsibilitiesStand inside trailers and hand-load boxes so they fit symmetrically and safely.Lift and move boxes weighing 50–60 lbs consistently throughout the shift in trailer loading and kitting areas.Work at a very fast pace to keep up with trailer loading and shipping schedules.Sort large pallets, totes, and boxes into their correct areas in the shipping department, ensuring heavy items are handled safely.Move quickly to keep staging areas full and replenished so orders are ready for loading and shipment.Pay close attention to numbers, labels, and locations to ensure boxes are placed in the correct spots.Scan products and apply labels accurately in the K-Ship area using RF scan guns and related equipment.Operate automatic taping equipment to seal boxes securely.Band materials together, including heavy items, to prepare them for shipping.Use pallet jacks and other material handling equipment to move pallets and totes safely around the warehouse.Remove product from boxes and place items into totes in the decase area.Break down and dispose of empty boxes after decasing to maintain a clean and organized work area.Lift heavy totes on and off conveyor belts and staging areas.Prepare packages to be delivered discreetly by covering and taping boxes so contents are not visible.Lift and load heavy boxes back into the proper areas after discreet packaging is complete.Perform general warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, rework, kitting, and order picking as needed.Use RF scanners and RF scan guns to pick orders, track inventory, and verify product information.Follow simple written instructions, short correspondence, and memos to complete daily tasks accurately.Maintain quality standards by conducting basic quality checks, inspections, and quality assurance activities.Support inventory control by accurately picking, packing, and staging materials for shipment.Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines while performing all material handling and lifting activities.Contribute to a positive, family-oriented culture by working collaboratively with teammates and supporting a clean, organized work environment.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Charlestown, IN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
